It turned out super cute! She was in charge of planning their anniversary this year and she decided she would take him to Cape Cod. The last heart in the frame was a map of Cape Cod. She gave it to him on Friday so he'd know where they were going, but all the activities were a surprise. I thought this was a super cute idea! She said Cape Cod is the cutest little town, and they want to take us there one weekend. Well...they have a dog. Alex and I were put in charge of Henry overnight. Henry really likes us now. haha Let's just say, it was a struggle! Alex and I aren't super good at taking care of dogs, but oh well he's still living! haha Here's Henry himself...
I don't think he was as miserable as he looks, at least I hope not. lol We thought that he slept in his kennel at night so we put him in around 12:30 and headed to bed. Bad idea. He wined and barked for an hour and a half, and we finally caved in and took him out. (we were mainly concerned he would wake up our neighbors baby) Alex "barricaded" him in with chairs between our room, the bathroom, and the living room, so she thought. BUT, he was able to walk right between the chairs and wander around. Oh well, what do you do?? haha Come to find out, they don't make him sleep in his kennel, so that's why he wined consistently for 1 1/2 hours! Also, in the 24 hour period he pooped in our house twice. Booooo!!! We came home from church and he had somehow gotten out of his kennel and pooped in our room. Alex and I both cleaned the poo while dry heaving. Its. So. Nasty. If we ever have to watch Henry again, at least we'll have an idea of what we're doing! haha Yay for dog sitting.
Saturday night was super fun, so a post is coming soon!!
