Well, Alex and I decided to conquer Canal St. on our own on Saturday night. We were very concerned going by ourselves but we figured out the train and subway system we needed to take, and we did super good! We were quite proud that we made it around without Bree! We found a train station that is literally five minutes from our house that goes straight to Penn Station in NYC. This was much easier than driving to Hoboken and catching the train there. Once we got to Penn Station we took a subway straight to Canal St. Once there we went right into a convenient store and broke down our big bills into $5's, and $1's and headed to do some shopping! Canal Street is the BEST! All I purchased was a gift for my mom (for belated mothers day. I can't say what it is yet because she hasn't received it.), CoCo Chanel earrings, Juicy earrings, and a turquoise ring. We saw some purses but decided we didn't want to spend a lot of money on our first trip there. I'm sure we'll be doing some damage throughout the summer on Canal!

These guys were just dancing in the Penn station. Alex decided to join them, it must be because she was wearing the fedora! haha You can view a video of her dancing here.
The tin man pulled the rat right out of his hood to snap a shot with us!!
Alex brought the pepper spray with us, and it was kept close at ALL times!
